Features

• The plunger diameter is very small but should not be excessively large, typically in the range of D=3-200mm.
• The plunger pump has a wide range of discharge pressures and is suitable for use as a high-pressure pump.
• It can transport high-viscosity media, but is not recommended for conveying corrosive slurries or hazardous chemicals.
• The shaft seal is a packing seal, which may leak and requires periodic adjustment of the packing preloading force. The packing and plunger are both wear parts.
• The flow rate can be adjusted from 0-100%, with a measurement accuracy of ±1%. The maximum pressure can reach 32 MPa, and the flow rate remains almost unchanged despite fluctuations in outlet pressure.
• The plunger metering pump allows flow adjustment by regulating the stroke length. The flow can also be controlled by using a variable frequency motor and frequency inverter, enabling remote control.
• The pump head can be designed as various types of insulated pump heads (with steam, hot water, electric heating options).
• The pump can be arranged in a parallel configuration for adding different liquids, varying flow rates, and pressures.

Performance Characteristics

• The insulated jacket plunger pump head is equipped with a jacketed shell around the liquid cylinder, inlet, and outlet, which can perform special insulation or cooling of the transported medium. The insulation or cooling effect is achieved by circulating insulating or cooling fluid through the jacket.
